| Other Info | Teams of up to 11 people from local companies, organisations and groups of friends are encouraged to sign up to take part in the Festival to raise funds for local charity St Elizabeth Hospice. Teams will get a minimum of 3 races, all equipment including the 30’ dragon boats is provided and no experience necessary!
For spectators there is racing every few minutes and bankside activities including a funfair, inflatables and catering stands. There is no charge for spectators and teams wishing to take part should contact Gable Events on 01780 470718 or visit http://www.dragonboatfestivals.co.uk/eastanglia/ for further details of how to get involved.

Heritage Open Days celebrates England’s fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.
This is a great chance to see everything that the wonderful Lowestoft Museum has to offer. Lowestoft museum has exhibitions ranging from early man (700,000 years - the earliest in Northern Europe) to the present day. Our prize collection is of Lowestoft Porcelain (the largest public display) for which there will be guided tours on Friday and Saturday. |
